Bursaries
- Students may be considered for the following bursaries by completing the general bursary application. Only one application is necessary to be considered for all bursaries.
Class of 1996 Bursary
Value: Varies | Number: 1
A bursary is awarded to a student entering third or fourth year in Women's Studies.
The Hamber Foundation Women's Studies Bursaries
Value: $1,000 | Number: 4
Four $1,000 bursaries are awarded to third or fourth year students with a declared major in Women's Studies.
The Petch Bursary in Women's Studies
Value: $400 | Number: Varies
One or more bursaries of $400 each will be awarded to student with a declared major in Women's Studies.
Michèle Pujol Bursary in Women's Studies
Value: Varies | Number: 1
A bursary is awarded to a female 3rd or 4th year student in the Department of Women's Studies. Preference will be given to a lesbian, woman of a visible minority or an aboriginal woman.

Applications from students are NOT required for scholarships listed in this section.
Unless otherwise indicated, recipients are selected by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendations of the Department of Women's Studies.
These scholarships are governed by the general regulations for scholarships, medals and prizes.
Scholarships marked with an asterisk (*) are administered by the University of Victoria Foundation.
* CHRISTINE ST. PETER SCHOLARSHIPS FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN WOMEN'S STUDIES
Two scholarships are awarded to academically outstanding students in the Department of Women’s Studies; one to an Honours or Major student in year 3 with the highest GPA in accumulated Women’s Studies courses and one to an Honours or Major student in year 4 with the highest GPA in accumulated Women’s Studies courses.
* JANE GLAVIN ST. PETER SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IN WOMENS STUDIES
Two scholarships are awarded to academically outstanding students in the Department of Women’s Studies; one to an Honours or Major student in year 3 with the 2nd highest GPA in accumulated Women’s Studies courses and one to an Honours or Major student in year 4 with the 2nd highest GPA in accumulated Women’s Studies courses.
