Unless otherwise indicated, recipients are selected by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendations of the Department of History in Art.
These scholarships are governed by the general regulations for scholarships, medals and prizes.
Scholarships marked with an asterisk (*) are administered by the University of Victoria Foundation.
* THE FLORA HAMILTON BURNS SCHOLARSHIP
A scholarship of $675, donated by Flora Hamilton Burns in memory of Emily Carr, is awarded to an outstanding student
entering fourth year of the B.A. Program in History in Art with an announced intention of proceeding to further study in this discipline.
NELLIE HOLROYD SCHOLARSHIP IN ART HISTORY
A scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to a student in the Department of History in Art.
* THE PATRICIA BURNS KEIR PRIZE IN CANADIAN ART
A book prize is awarded to an oustanding student enrolled in a course on the history of Canadian art.
* STEPHEN & EUNICE LOWE SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE STUDY OF THE HISTORY OF CHINESE ART
One or more scholarships are awarded to either undergraduate or graduate students in the Department of History in Art studying the history of Chinese Art.
* MARTLET CHAPTER, IODE PRIZE FOR SCHOLARSHIP IN HISTORY IN ART
A scholarsip of $475 will be presented for excellence in History in Art.
* AUDREY ST. DENYS and M.E. JOHNSON SCHOLARSHIPS
One or more scholarships are awarded to undergraduate or graduate students in Faculty of Fine Arts.
